Information we collect
Information you choose to provide
When you make an inquiry or contact us, we may receive your names, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, Instagram handle, wedding date and location, guest count, planner or vendor details, approximate photography budget, how you found us and anything you include in your message.
Information created when you visit
Our hosting and security provider may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, timestamps, referral information and security events. If you consent to analytics or marketing technologies, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel may also receive information about visits, page interactions, campaign referrals and device or browser identifiers.
Photographs and portfolio material
Wedding photographs are published as editorial portfolio material under the relevant client arrangements and permissions. If you appear in an image and have a concern about its use, please contact us.
Why and how we use information
- To reply to inquiries, discuss availability and take steps toward a photography agreement.
- To provide contracted photography services and maintain client relationships.
- To operate, protect, troubleshoot and improve the website.
- To understand website use through Google Analytics, only where you have consented.
- To measure campaigns and support advertising through Meta Pixel, only where you have consented.
- To meet accounting, tax, legal and regulatory obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
Depending on the activity, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in running and securing the studio, or your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Necessary technologies support security, delivery and storage of your privacy choice. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are optional and remain blocked until you enable their respective categories. You can accept, reject or make a category-by-category choice, then change it at any time through Cookie settings.
Details of the technologies, providers and expected durations are set out in our Cookie Policy.
Who may receive information
We share information only where needed with service providers that help host, secure and operate the website, deliver communications, administer the studio or provide professional advice. Current website providers include Cloudflare for hosting and security and, once enabled with consent, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel.
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a genuine business reorganisation. We do not allow service providers to use inquiry information for their own advertising.
How long we keep information
Unsuccessful or inactive inquiry correspondence is ordinarily kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is reasonably needed to resolve a request or claim. Client and transaction records are kept for the duration of the relationship and for any period required by tax, accounting or other applicable law.
Cookie choices are requested again after six months. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the configured provider settings and applicable law; the Cookie Policy lists the expected browser storage durations.
Your data protection rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information; object to processing based on legitimate interests; receive certain information in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
In Portugal, the supervisory authority is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) ↗. You may also contact the authority where you live or work.
To protect your information, we may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Security, children and changes
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
This website is intended for adults arranging photography services and is not directed to children. Please do not send us personal information about a child unless it is relevant and you are authorised to do so.
We may update this policy when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top will show the latest revision.
